Class of 2009 reunite
Rosmini College recently welcomed a group of 20 Old Boys from the class of 2009 for a reunion where they enjoyed a relaxed afternoon reflecting on their time at the College, catching up on where their lives are now, and seeing the developments that have been made over the years at the school.
The day began with the Rosminian Prayer and acknowledgement of the boys in the cohort who have passed, Kane Ripia and Patuki Tairua.
Some updates on the school were provided by Headmaster Nixon Cooper with sentiments of welcome from the Head Prefect, James Doyle. Everyone was given an opportunity to share updates of their lives since Rosmini with many just having had their own children and others working and living overseas. One of the Old Boys has their son starting Rosmini this year, continuing their family legacy with the college. This was followed by a video montage of photos from 2009.
The cohort continued with a tour around the school grounds and ended with a round of handball on the forecourt for old time's sake!
Thank you to Chelsea Tevaga for organising this fantastic event, which helps build a community of support and inspiration.
