Rosmini College School Fees

Fees statements are emailed monthly, with the first sent towards the end of February to allow for the roll to be settled and any last option changes confirmed.

School Fees are made up of four components – Attendance Dues, Special Character, School Contribution and Building Fund.

The compulsory Attendance Dues are collected by the school on behalf of the Proprietor, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland. All Dues collected are sent to the Auckland Common Fund, the Diocese’s department responsible for collection. Dues are a compulsory payment under the terms of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975.

The 2023 Fees are as follows:

Years 9 - 13:

Full Year = $2453 or $2033 sibling (includes $916 compulsory Attendance Dues)

Years 7 & 8:

Full Year = $1985 or $1565 sibling  (includes $468 compulsory Attendance Dues)

Details of all the year’s fees will appear on each statement and parents can choose to pay instalments fortnightly, monthly or quarterly each term so as to be fully paid by the end of the Term 4.

It is essential that clear payment references are made – including your son’s name and/or student ID number.  This will ensure correct allocation of your payment. If there is not enough room in the box to label your payment clearly,  please email a breakdown of your payment to [email protected].

Payments can also be made by eftpos/credit card at the Student Services Office. An automatic surcharge of 1.8% is added to all credit card transactions. Payments can be processed by credit card over the phone.  Please ask for Student Services when you phone 09 489 5417. Our eftpos terminals do not accept Diners Club or American Express, but VISA or Mastercard work well.

Tax Donation Receipts

Tax donation receipts are emailed at the end of each tax year. A copy of these can be requested at any time.

Payments other than School Fees

Information relating to other payments such as class trips, sports fees, music, exams etc. will be emailed or by notice sent home with your son. This correspondence will outline the "what, where, when & how" of the event. It will also include the various ways which you can pay. These costs are charged to your account as they fall due throughout the year.

If you have any questions related to school fees, payment options or any other school finance matters, please email [email protected].  We are happy to help.

The following is a message from the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland's Office regarding the Special Character and Dues component of our school fees:

Special Catholic Character Contributions

The Catholic Special Character contribution is a voluntary donation of $12.50 per term ($50.00 per annum) per student.

This contribution provides the main source of funding for all services provided to Rosmini College by the Catholic Education Services Board. Special Character Contributions collected on behalf of the Proprietor are permitted under the terms of the Education and Training Act 2020. These contributions are eligible for a taxation rebate.

No contributions are made by the Government for these services. Financial Contributions collected on behalf of the Proprietor are permitted under the terms of the Education and Training Act 2020. These contributions are eligible for a taxation rebate.
