Enrolment Closing Date

Due to roll pressure, enrolments for all year levels will close as above. Families who submit applications after this date will have their enrolment considered only in Term 4, if places become available.

A waitlist will be created for late applications and placement will depend on space availability. We encourage all families to submit enrolment forms before the closing dates.

Open Day

All new prospective Year 7 to 13 applicants should attend this day with their parents.  Due to time pressures, we host only one such day.  There is no need to register.

Key Timings:

Parents arriving from 1:00pm.
A Whakatau welcome will commence at 1:30pm, followed by presentations in the Auditorium.
School leaders will lead guided tours starting at 2:15pm.
Open Day concludes at 2:45pm.

Important Note for Year 9 enrolments

We have seen an increase in Year 9 applications over the past two years.  It is important to bear in mind that entry level into Rosmini is at Year 7 and not Year 9.  There are very limited spaces available in Year 9 for 2027.

Preference of Enrolment

To be granted preference of enrolment, the application together with all the required documentation (as set out on the school website) must be accompanied by a Preference Certificate signed by your Catholic Parish Priest.

Applications for preference under the 5.4 Criterion (Significant Familial Adult Involvement) are referred to a central committee at the Diocese for approval.

Homestay Families Needed

Have you thought about hosting an international student?

Rosmini College is currently looking for local homestay families for international high school students, from one term to longer periods.
Our homestays provide students guidance, their own room, all meals and snacks, and integrate them into their homes. Homestays are rewarded with a fun and enriching experience of learning about a new culture and forming lasting global friendships. And, our homestays are remunerated for every student in their care.

If you think you could be a homestay for a Rosmini student, please email [email protected].nz
 for further information.

We aim to produce young men ready to leave school who are able to make a positive contribution to society and are empowered to serve others by living out the maxims of the college's founder, Antonio Rosmini - to be young men of dignity, integrity, fairness, charity and justice.
