The win was Rosmini's first ever Auckland title in this grade

Our 13A Football team are Knockout Cup Champions!

Rosmini took down St Peter’s 4-2 in a thriller of a 13th grade final on Friday 11 September — a fantastic achievement in a first for our school.

Their incredible run to the trophy included impressive victories at every stage:

• Round of 16: Defeated Western Springs College 6–1
• Quarter-Final: Defeated Westlake Boys' High School 1–0
• Semi-Final: Defeated Takapuna Grammar School on penalties
• Final: Defeated St Peter’s College 4–2

The entire squad delivered outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Special mention goes to penalty hero Ethan Moult in goal; midfield maestros Josh, Noah, Zach, Tom, Frankie, Roman, Ejay, and Jacko; dynamic defenders Lachie, James, and Adam; "freakish" forwards Nathan, Kahika, Dom, and Orlando; and captain fantastic, Jacob.

The team was superbly coached by Mr. Max Terry and Mr. Joe Hughes.

The Rosminian spirit and character shown by the players and their supportive families was truly amazing. Next up: the U15 Nationals next year in Tauranga!
