Rosmini College had three ensembles performing in the KBB Festival this year

Rosmini College had three ensembles performing in the KBB Festival this year - the Rosmini String Ensemble, Rosmini Big Band and Rosmini Concert Band. All three ensembles performed well and also enjoyed listening to and supporting other ensembles from schools around Auckland. 

At the Gala Concert at the end of the week, awards were given out to each of the ensembles that performed. We are pleased to let you know that the Rosmini Big Band received a Bronze award for the second year running, and the Rosmini String Ensemble and Rosmini Concert Band were awarded a Highly Commended. Congratulations to all involved!

Congratulations also goes to the six Rosmini students who were selected for the KBB Honours Programme that performed on Friday evening in Holy Trinity Cathedral. They are:

Honours Orchestra:
Maximilian Wong - 2nd Violin
Kevin Parmurahardjo - 2nd Violin
Szymon Merilles - 2nd Violin
Hugo Brieba-O’Loughlin - 1st Trumpet
Quillan Drum - 2nd Bassoon

Honours Jazz Band:
Joshua Fernandez - Bass Guitar
