The workshop introduced the boys to the fundamentals of electronic engineering
On Thursday and Friday this week, our Year 8 students had the fantastic opportunity to work in small groups with visiting educators from MOTAT.
Hands-on and packed with practical learning, the workshop introduced the boys to the fundamentals of electronic engineering. Using Micro:bits, they explored the magic of circuits, sensors, and foundational programming. The students also dove into the world of Arduinos, leveraging AI to generate code that brought customised lighting effects to life, from rainbow cycles to oscillating patterns.
The boys clearly enjoyed bringing their tech creations to life. A big thank you to the MOTAT team for inspiring our young innovators!
