The visit reminded us all of our shared Rosminian values and global community

On Wednesday 31 July our school community experienced a beautiful and memorable day as we hosted Don Marco Tanghetti, the Superior General of the Rosminian Order, who is based in Italy.

The special visit began with a Mihi Whakatau, and then Father Marco spent his time with our Catholic Character Leaders and various ministry leaders. Our student leaders shone as they delivered outstanding presentations, showcasing the vibrant faith, service, and leadership initiatives that thrive within our school walls. Father Marco listened with great warmth, offering encouragement and global insight to our young ministry teams.

Father Marco assisted our own Father Glenn Lowe in celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism, welcoming 20 new boys into the Catholic faith. It was a perfect ending to an inspiring day that reminded us all of our shared Rosminian values and global community.
