It was a weekend of focused rehearsal and fine-tuning as Rosmini’s premier music ensembles headed to Muriwai for their annual camps
On Friday 1 May, the Rosmini Chamber Choir set off on choir camp at Houghton’s Bush Camp in Muriwai. It was great to have vocal consultant, Chris McRae, work with the choir on Friday and on Saturday afternoon the choir performed a concert for their parents. Mr Kay was a great chef and the choir were well fed! All in all a great couple of days rehearsing and preparing for The Big Sing in June.
This year, the newly formed Concert Band went on their first camp. Taking over from the choir camp at Houghton’s Bush, the concert band rehearsed for Saturday afternoon and Sunday, finishing with a concert for their parents.
Thank you to Mr Bisquera for his work with the concert band and also to Mrs Kus and Mrs Roe who came and helped at camp.
