Rosmini College is delighted to welcome a number of new staff members for 2026

Hi, I am Lovin Varghese, the new TiC Materials Technology. I'm a mechanical engineer with a background in CAD, Design and teaching. I've spent over a decade working in engineering education and really enjoy helping students understand concepts through practical, real-world examples.

I'm Alexandra Wilton, joining Rosmini as the Head of Faculty Social Sciences. My teaching subjects are Junior Social Studies and Senior History.
I am a new Aucklander, having moved here recently from Napier, joining my partner (Rosmini Old Boy) living on the North Shore. I feel excited to join Rosmini College with its strong character, depth of values, welcoming staff and genuinely delightful boys.
A privilege I have had is raising three sons. I am very proud of who they are and where they stand in the world. My eldest son (20) is third year at Otago Uni; middle son (18) currently embarking on a second stint at Camp America as an outdoor ed instructor. And my youngest (16) is five months into a one-year exchange to France.
I am looking forward to encouraging your sons with their learning, and interacting with their pursuits in all of the activities that Rosmini offers.

Hi, I'm Brian Davy, the new Economics and Business Studies teacher. I have worked in education for 18 years. My first school was Massey High School in West Auckland and most recently I have been the Programme Coordinator for the University of Auckland's foundation studies programme for international students. I have a PhD in 'Sociolinguistics in Education'. It has been my lifelong commitment to promote intellectual curiosity amongst our next generation. Rosmini College is the perfect place to continue that commitment.

Tēnā koutou, my name is Charlotte Kan and I am excited to be joining the Rosmini College Whānau as a Mathematics Teacher. I am passionate about the success of all learners and firmly believe that all relationships are reciprocal, where there is always something to learn from one another and with the right resources, everyone can achieve excellence.
I love all things sports and have participated in several Tag Rugby competitions, as well as local Muay Thai fights. I look forward to meeting and learning new ideas from all the other Kaiako and Ākonga I meet at Rosmini College!

Kia ora, I am a first year teacher at Rosmini this year teaching Te Reo Māori and Media Studies. I am an Old Boy who graduated in 2017 so it’s awesome to be back at the kura and working alongside some of my fantastic teachers. I grew up mainly on the Shore, while my parents are from up north and most of my family is still up there.
Noho ora mai.

My name is Nicola Riley and I am excited to be joining the Rosmini teaching staff in 2026, teaching in the English Department. For the past 12 years I have been at Dilworth School working in the classroom and across a variety of pastoral care roles.
I am married and have raised five children who bring a lot of energy and joy to our household.
