The annual Rosmini College Golf Tournament was a great success, raising a record amount for the college
The annual Rosmini College Golf Tournament took place last Thursday 27 November 2025 at the Waitemata Golf Club in Devonport and was a great success, raising a record amount for the college.
We were blessed with a lovely sunny day and ideal conditions for golfers and had a full field of 35 teams – many of the teams with connections to the College. Thanks to all the Rosmini Community and the Old Boys who supported the event by either entering a team, sponsoring a tee, donating a prize for the auction / raffle or purchasing raffle tickets.
Special thanks to auctioneer Paul Glover whose skills as an auctioneer raised over $23,000 running the auction on Thursday night. Thanks to the members of the PTFA who helped on the day along the senior boys from the College, including Oscar Smith, Jeremiah Afu and Old Boy Daniel Cullum, who used their excellent golfing skills to hit balls and raise a lot of money on the day.
The tournament was won by Team Lyons & Co – a former winner of the tournament and their team was Liam Lyons, Mike Newdick, Rob Wait and Brian Turner. Second place was Team North Shore Rugby Football Club, and in third place was the Swimming NZ team.
