Year 9s go behind the scenes at Weta Workshop

Visiting Weta Workshop in Auckland was the next best thing to being in a film production for our Media Studies students

For our Year 9 Media Studies students, visiting Weta Workshop in Auckland was the next best thing to being in a film production themselves.

The trip this week provided a firsthand look at the creation of props, costumes, and special effects. It was a very hands-on experience, allowing the students to engage with a variety of products and activities, culminating in a visual feast!

As an added treat this year, the boys were surprised with a visit to the "All Blacks Experience". Thank you to Ian Jones for arranging this bonus experience.
