The Pasifika End of Year Celebration and Awards Evening celebrated the academic, sporting, artistic, and character achievements of our Pasifika students

On Thursday 23 October the Rosmini Pasifika Parents Komiti hosted the Pasifika End of Year Celebration and Awards Evening.

The beautifully decorated auditorium provided a perfect setting to celebrate the academic, sporting, artistic, and character achievements of our Pasifika students across all year levels, and to farewell our Year 13s.

Guests heard from Pasifika student leader Nate Tofilau, Old Boy and MC Lui Poe, and guest speaker Inspector Sila Fagaesea Siaki - a proud Samoan leader with over 25 years in public service.

Following a delicious buffet dinner, the evening featured a lively Samoan Fa'ataupati, an emotional school haka for the departing students, and the presentation of awards.

• Arts Fusion Cup for Achievement in the Arts: Patrick Lemeki

• Rudi Wulf Cup for Most Promising Sportsman: Nate Tofilau

• Dr Laupepa Va’a Award for Academic Endeavours Across the Curriculum: Lachlan McDougal
