Rosmini's Badminton stars score big win

Our Intermediate and Junior teams achieved great success at the Term 3 North Harbour badminton tournament

The shuttlecocks were flying and the competition was fierce at the North Harbour Year 7 & 8 Intermediate badminton competition, which ran for all of Term 3. Rosmini proudly entered four teams of five boys, and they truly rose to the challenge throughout the entire term.

Our boys not only competed with skill, but they also grew in confidence with every match. Team Alpha was a standout, winning the tournament unbeaten, which is a record never achieved before by a Rosmini badminton team.

Not to be outdone, Team Beta finished strong in fourth place, and our other teams also placed well, demonstrating the depth of talent we have at Rosmini.

Meanwhile, a huge congratulations to our Year 9 and 10 Badminton Red and Blue teams, who recently wrapped up a fantastic showing at the North Harbour Junior Badminton tournament! For seven straight weeks, these dedicated students spent their Thursday afternoons competing with passion and skill, and their hard work paid off in a big way.

Our teams showed incredible determination and teamwork, finishing the tournament with impressive third and fourth place rankings. We are so proud of every single player who stepped onto the court and represented our school.

Their commitment and sportsmanship throughout the tournament have been inspiring. This achievement isn’t just about the final score; it's about the growth, friendship, and resilience you all demonstrated. Their success is a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved with dedication and a positive spirit.
