Badminton team competes at 2025 Nationals

The tournament was a fantastic learning experience for our eight-strong Rosmini badminton team

While the eight Rosmini boys who competed at the recent Badminton Nationals didn't take home any major awards, they racked up plenty of small victories that deserve recognition. For six of the eight players, this was their first time competing at the national level, and three of them are only in Year 10.

A particularly notable achievement was that three of the players stepped up to compete in Division 1, where most of the other competitors were under-19 Nationals players. Despite facing this significant challenge, the team still managed to win some games, which is a testament to their skill and determination.

The tournament was an eye-opening experience, providing the boys with valuable lessons they could never have learned on a local court. The competition and camaraderie at the national level will undoubtedly serve them well as they continue to develop their skills.

Congratulations to the entire team for their hard work and great sportsmanship: Ryan Soo-Jones, Stanford Vincely, Chris Huang, Reece Augustine, Marcus Lu, James Orjalo, Kevin Pamurahardjo, and Gavin Saptaputra.
