The Year 9 drama class had a great time learning stage combat from New Zealand actor and stunt performer Mike Edward.

Known for his work in both television and theatre, Mike used his extensive stunt experience to teach the students how to create a safe and realistic fight scene.

The boys quickly discovered that stage combat is a lot more than just fighting—it's a form of choreographed dance and physical storytelling.

Before letting the students practice "punching, strangling, hair pulling and falling" on their own, he showed them a few key techniques to master the art of the illusion.

Thank you for your time Mr Edward.
