The celebration of Pasifika culture was organised by the Pasifika Parents Komiti from both schools
On Wednesday 30 July the Carmel College Auditorium came alive with the vibrant energy of the Rosmini and Carmel Fiafia Evening, a joint celebration of Pasifika culture organised by the Pasifika Parents Komiti from both schools.
The evening began with a warm welcome and a opening bracket from the Carmel College Kapa Haka roopu and choir, which set the tone for a night of pride and connection.
The combined Samoan cultural group from Rosmini and Carmel delivered a stunning main performance, supported by audio visuals and backing tracks that highlighted the richness of Pasifika heritage.
The highlight of the evening was seeing the perseverance of the students who remained after a challenging start to the group. A special congratulations to the boys in particular who remained dedicated to the event.
Thank you to our tutors and all those who made this an outsanding event.
