Rosmini College at the Young Sportsperson of the Year Awards

The College Sports Young Sportsperson of the Year Awards took place on Thursday 24th November at Eden Park, attended by just under 600 guests. 

The prestigious Awards have been held since 1991 to celebrate the outstanding sporting achievements of Auckland secondary school students.

Guest speaker Cam Calkoen inspired the audience with Wendy Petrie the Master of Ceremonies and the Westlake Girls High School Kapa Haka opening the evening with their performance.

Rosmini College had four students as finalists this year: Charlie Dalton for Basketball and Volleyball, Cole Johns for Waterpolo, Everton O'Leary for Football, and Tom Beattie for Basketball .

Congratulations to Everton, who was named College Sport Footballer of the year! 

Overall it was a great night celebrating sporting success across many different codes.
