Rosmini badminton players enjoy local competition

Around 60 boys at Rosmini College enjoy playing the sport of badminton all year. Boys train at least once a week at our school.

Recently, 27 boys participated in after school badminton competitions with pleasing results.

North Shore Secondary Competition

A Grade Team came sixth out of twelve teams.

B Grade Team came third out of six teams.

North Shore Intermediate Competition

A Grade Team came sixth out of eight teams.

B Grade One Team came second out of seven teams.

B Grade Two Team came fourth out of seven teams.

The boys have improved their skills and confidence. Badminton is an ideal sport for boys and can be played in teams. It has been great to see boys who have never played a sport before becoming successful at playing badminton. There will be an opportunity for boys to join in 2023.
