One Foot in the Clouds visited by Air NZ
On Wednesday three senior Engineering Managers from Air New Zealand visited Rosmini College to find out about our One Foot in the Cloud project, and to see the work being done by the students. The feedback from them was very encouraging!
One Foot in the Clouds is a unique program headed by physics teacher John Smith, that offers a hands-on learning experience. Students spend time after school and on weekends working together to build a kitset Savannah aircraft. Students start their training by designing, building then flying radio controlled model aircraft before working on the full size Savannah. Progress on building is regularly checked by kitset owner Steve Williams.
