Year 8 Camp 2023
One hundred and fifty-nine boys recently enjoyed their Year 8 Camp at the YMCA located at Shakespear Lodge, at Whangaparaoa .
For three days and two nights the boys were active from 6:30am to 9:30pm - it takes a lot to tire these boys out!
We tramped, swam, cycled, kayaked, made rafts, did mountain boarding, coasteering, archery, climbed, made catapults and played night games. The boys were very active and had numerous opportunities to make new friends.
The Camp was a positive experience that would not be possible without the help of our special parent helpers, and for those parents who sacrificed their time (and sleep) we say thank you.
