  • Divine Mercy, Adoration and Confession in the Chapel today, Friday 1:00-1:20pm

 

  • The Savannah and RC plane builds are both going ahead on Saturday morning 9.30 to 12.30

 

  • Rosmini’s Tutoring program: Open to Year 9 - 12 students who would like to receive tutoring. Sessions are 1 hour long and $25 per session. Tutoring sessions are strictly before or after school (not during break times).    Students who want to receive tutoring should contact Benedict Chan via email at [email protected] with: Full Name, Year Group, Subject to receive tutoring, Parent/Guardian Contact details.   If you have any questions regarding tutoring, please email Benedict Chan at [email protected].   We encourage Year 7 - 8 students only to receive tutoring if necessary 

 

  • A plea has been made by De Paul House for non-perishable food items.   Food items can be dropped directly at the Office door of De Paul House, 92-96 Onewa Road, Northcote Point Ph: 09 480 5959 or brought to the school by your son.  Remember, every gift fulfills our School's motto, "Charity Fulfills the Law"  De Paul House Food bank wish list:  Med – large Tins of tuna, salmon, Corned Beef, Pasta sauces, meal sauces, tea, coffee, milo, biscuits, crackers, muesli bars.   Personal care – shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap.  Household – laundry and dishwashing liquid, spray and wipe

 

  • Maths Club is back for 2022! Running on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 and Wednesday lunchtimes in B4. Open to all students who need assistance in maths or are interested in learning new maths skills

 

  • Back up data  -  if you are saving any work in your student folder please  ensure that you are taking responsibility for your work  by backing it up.  Work can be backed up using a USB, to the cloud, external hard drive and so on.    Saving it on school accounts / folders is not enough 

 

  • Carpark and the front of the school   is out of bounds Before and After School and During Breaks

  • REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS:   Masks are mandatory on Auckland public transport:   School buses and children under 12 will be exempt, however, we encourage all students to wear masks on School Buses and Public Buses 

 


Rosmini Sport Section  - ALL​​​

     

    • All Year levels Snowboarding:   The Auckland competition is coming up soon, June 16th followed by the North Islands in Term 3 and Primary / Intermediates in Term 4.   Please come  and see Mrs Peak in her office if you would like to find out more and join

    • Congratulations to JMG who took out the Year 10 volleyball title in a closely fought match with AMS.   Third place went to Dlk, with MCF losing in another tight 3 set game.   On Friday the Year 10 Champions JMG, take on the best of all the other classes combined.   Any keen Year 10's are invited to train/trial on Friday afternoons in the old gym.   Session finishes at 4:50pm

    • Yr 7 & 8 - ALL (15 a side) rugby boys - Rugby Zone Day Training - Starting this Friday (weeks 3, 4, 5 only) 8:30am - 9:30am on the top field.  Please bring a mouth guard, boots and a change of clothes.  Must attend to be eligible to play in the North Harbour Rugby Zone Day.  Any problems see Mr Sexton

    • Yr 7 & 8 have their Cross Country Race Friday morning 27th May. Please assemble in your PE gear (shoes optional) on the Tennis courts at 8.50am Friday morning 27th May. The course is both around School and the grounds beside school. Any questions contact   [email protected]

      • Any Year 11, 12, 13 student interested in a career in the farming sector and finding out about the wide range of jobs available please see Mr Latch for an interactive event on Sunday the 29th of May

      • Any Year 12 or 13 interested in a job as an electrician please see Mr Latch about a trip in late June to find out how an electrical apprenticeship works.    Only 3 spots left so be quick 

      • If any students are looking at studying in Waikato in the future please see Mr Latch and I will get a student adviser from Waikato to come and speak with you 

      • If you are interested in making music or making movies I have 2 courses in the July holidays where you experience making movies and music.   The courses cost $280 each but are fully funded by Star money.  These are available for any students in years 11 to 13.  Places are limited.  Please see Mr Latch if you are keen

      • If you are interested in working on a farm and are  in Years 12 or 13, Smedley Station is having open days on the 11th and 12th of June.   They only take on 13 cadets a year and are well respected in the industry. See Mr Latch for more details

      • Any Year 13 students interested in studying  design, photography, fine arts, film & tv, animation, gaming, music at Massey University in Wellington in 2023 they have an Open Day on June the 17th  (in Wellington).    Please see Mr Latch for more details if you are keen

      • In support of anti bullying week there will be a mufti pink shirt day this Friday 20th May.   Wear your pink shirts to stand up against bullying.   Gold Coin Donation needs to be handed in to your form tutor on Friday

      • Who is the Teacher's Pet Competition:  How well do you know your teacher?  Can you figure out who their pet is?  Come down to the board outside A1 and see if you can do it.  The competition closes on Friday 10 June, and you can enter as many times as you like.  First prize - Movie Voucher - Second prize - $10 tuck shop voucher - Third Prize - $5 tuck shop voucher - If there are multiple students with the correct answers, there will be a draw

      Lost Property:

       

      • Students, please take responsibility for your uniform and personal items        Name it  -   Look after it  -  Collect it  !!      Due to the large amount of lost property, you and your caregiver will be emailed on your school email if your items are named and have been foundThe onus is on you, the student, to collect your items from Lost Property during your break
