We will be taking Year 10 students to the Hillary Outdoors Centre in Tongariro National Park later this year. The purpose is to give students an opportunity to develop "confidence, resilience and empathy while discovering new passions and unearthing new skills".

The details of the trip are as follows:

- Maximum number of students = 80

- November 29th - December 3rd 2021 (Term 4, Week 7)

- Leadership will be the selected focus

- Estimated cost = $900.00 (incl. Transport)

- Cost includes everything including food from Monday night through to Friday lunch

- Extra costs will be Monday lunch and Friday night dinner


Registrations to attend need to be completed by:

Friday 5th March 2021

After this date, those who have registered will be contacted with information concerning the payment of a non-refundable deposit. 


* Rosmini College will make an assesssment on whether this trip will go ahead or not after the registration numbers are finalised.

Hillary Outdoors Leadership Development:

This programme is designed for students to develop skills in co-operation, communal living, self leadership and environmental care. Students learn and connect through exploration, adventure and environmental initiatives. The week offers a variety of different activities, including an overnight camp experience.
