Panuitanga – Rapare, 31 Hongongoi 2014

All

  • Mass will be celebrated in the School Chapel at 12.40 pm – all welcome.
  • Fr.Craig Dunford will be in school 12noon-1.30 pm before and after Mass, for anyone who wishes to speak with him on an individual basis or have Reconciliation.
  • Snowboarding:  Surf boys going to Snow Planet, the van leaves school at 6pm and returns 9.15 pm.  Please remember money and warm clothing.
  • Rugby 3rd Grade:  can these players see Mr Bonetti today re Saturday’s game:  Alias, Shaw, Finlay, Wright, Vea, Kelly, Cisterna Baeza x2 and Veramu.
  • World War One Centenary: On Monday, 4th August, NZ will commemorate 100 years since our country entered World War One. Our school will mark this occasion with one minute's silence and a prayer during Form Class time on this day. There will be two short rings of the bell to begin this at 9.02 am. Many students and teachers at this school have ancestors who fought and may even have died in this war.   • Students hosting Japanese students need to be here Sunday, 3 August at 3.30pm to pick up your student.
  • Music:  Instead of barbershop singers, Senior choir practice at 8 am to 9 am.
  • All pop singers for the school concert will meet at 1 pm with Ms Suzanne Lynch.
    Jazz Band: Sunday practice 2:30-5pm

  • Year 13:  ALL ENGLISH SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS meet in B1 at morning break on Friday. Note, change of venue.
  • Year 13: DEBATING:  Advanced Open, Team 1 please meet in C5 at morning break today.
  • Can 13KC, 13LW and any other year 13’s that haven’t tried on leavers gear go to the auditorium at the start of lunch.

  • Handball Tournament for yrs 7&8: Tuesday, 12 August, junior lunchtime - limited spaces available.  Please sign up outside the tuck shop next Tuesday 5 August at lunchtime.  A group of seniors will be there with a signup sheet.  Entry fee $2 – big prize.
  • Junior International Club: lunchtime in Auditorium 2.
  • Reminder Rugby league trial game Friday lunchtime. Meet lower fields, bring mouth guard and boots.
