  • Music:  Saxophone and Clarinet lessons.
  • World War One Centenary: On Monday, 4th August, NZ will commemorate 100 years since our country entered World War One. Our school will mark this occasion with one minute's silence and a prayer during Form Class time on this day. There will be two short rings of the bell to begin this at 9.02 am. Many students and teachers at this school have ancestors who fought and may even have died in this war. If you know the name of such an ancestor, here is a link to help you find his military record:  http://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/    Just enter his full name in the box and press search and it will take you to his records.

Yrs 11,12,13

  • Years 9-13 Form Period at the end of period 2.
  • Any year 13 who has not tried on leavers gear yet, go to the auditorium at the start of lunch.  THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE.
  • Year 13:  ALL ENGLISH SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS meet in B1 at morning break today. Note: change of venue.
  • Science Research Group:  next week the Science Research Group would like to conduct some experiments using members of the 1st XV Rugby, 1st XI’s Hockey & Soccer.  These will be at morning break, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday and we will provide bikkies for your trouble J The day for your team will be advised.

  • Year 8 class representatives meet in A9 at lunchtime for a meeting to organise the Year 8 camp.
  • Handball Tournament for yrs 7&8: Tuesday, 12 August, junior lunchtime - limited spaces available.  Please sign up outside the tuck shop next Tuesday 5 August at lunchtime.  A group of seniors will be there with a signup sheet.  Entry fee $2 – big prize.
