Rapare 2 Hurae 2015

All

  • Mass will be celebrated in the school Chapel at 12.40 pm - all welcome.
  • Fr Craig Dunford will be in the school from 12noon - 1.30 pm for anyone who would like to speak with him on an individual basis or have Reconciliation.
  • BBQ sausage sizzle today Thursday during both junior and senior lunch times. The BBQ is being held as a fundraiser for the cricket tour to Sri Lanka later in the year. We appreciate your support.
  • Judo after school today, Thursday.
  • Junior Jazz will have a rehearsal on Friday morning at 8:20 am and at period 5 for Gold card assembly.
  • Basketball Skills Session:  Skills sessions will be continuing in Term 3 at the Breakers Training facility in Mairangi Bay.  These sessions are open to all players who wish to improve their skills for the end of the season and looking to make improvements for 2016.Costs are dependent on numbers, so the more players attending will lessen the cost.
    All interested in attending, register your interest with Mr Samuels ASAP.  Sessions commence the first week back after the holidays.
  • Rugby North Harbour U16 Rep Rugby:  the skills session is this Sunday at 10 am on Field No. 4.  See rugby notice board for further info.
  • Rosmini College Sports Wall Planners for sale for the Sri Lankan Cricket Tour.  Beneficial for planning study, assessments, and knowing when the holidays are!!! $5 each.  Students will be coming around the classes selling, please have your money ready.
  • International Students:  any International student leaving the country during the holidays please see Mr Sarraf.

Lost and Found

  • Lost Property will be on display at lunchtime in FC2 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Lost:  laptop bag orange ‘vmob’ written on it with laptop.  Left on side of road in Dominion Street any info please see Mrs Meurant.
  • Found:  Rip Curl Hoody on the courts probably after hockey training see Mrs Davidson.
  • Lost:  Fruit World market bag containing sports gear ie PE gear, sports shoes, Basketball gear, drink bottle etc, etc. belonging to Brendan d’Silva, 9ECE.

Senior
Years 11, 12 & 13

  • NCEA payments were due Friday, 19 June - if you haven’t already done so please make your payment NOW to Mrs Gerrard in the Stationery Office.
  • Amazing Race: Maori and PI boys please meet A2 at morning break, today, Thursday.
  • S.T.E.M. those individuals & groups who still don't know what they want to do for S.T.E.M. can meet in LAB B1 at tea break today, Thursday, so that we can discuss their options with them.
  • S.T.E.M. Submission evening: Could one person from each team planning to present at our S.T.E.M. evening, please come and see Mr Basel to collect an invite which tells you how to secure your place.
  • The book 'The Ask and the Answer' reserved by Seamus O'Reilly 11NM is now available.  Please collect from the library by tomorrow, Friday 3 July.

Junior
Years 9 & 10

  • Amazing Race: chosen Year 10 Maori and PI boys please meet A2 at morning break, today, Thursday.
  • S.T.E.M. those individuals & groups who still don't know what they want to do for S.T.E.M. can meet in LAB B1 at tea break today, Thursday so that we can discuss their options with them.
  • S.T.E.M. Submission evening: Could one person from each team planning to present at our S.T.E.M. evening, please come and see Mr Basel to collect an invite which tells you how to secure your place.
  • St Joseph’s Youth Group:  Last youth group meeting for term two.  Meeting at St Mary’s Northcote, to enjoy and evening with other North Shore youth.  Our start time is 6pm finishing at 8pm.  Please bring a gold coin, as will be having Pizza yummy!!!!!  A big thank you to Andy and Brigitta for helping us at camp and for all who provided transport and baking.

Intermediate
Years 7 & 8

  • Volleyball Finals today at junior lunch - Yr 7 JLL vs JCH and Yr 8 SVS vs NCB.
  • Beginning Band Friday at lunchtime.
  • International Club:  junior lunchtime in Auditorium 2.
  • Table tennis - Any boy interested in playing table tennis in term 3 on Wednesday nights from 5pm at the North Harbour table tennis stadium see Mr Sexton  at his office today, Thursday, during morning tea. Open to all.
  • Aimes Football:  no training this week - Training resumes 1st week Term 3.
  • Futsal starts up again next term for interested players.
  • Bookings of the Discovery Labs Holiday Programme are now open. Besides the MineCraft & Coding options we are now also offering a new lab in stop motion Animation (Claymation). See www.discoverylabs.co.nz for more details.
