Funeral for Mr Owen Hughes

Friday 12 April
Rosmini Auditorium
1pm

The funeral for Rosmini College's long-time, much-loved and respected student mentor Mr Owen Hughes will be held at the college, at the family’s request, on Friday 12 April at 1pm. Following the funeral there will be a guard of honour down the driveway as Mr Hughes leaves the college for that last time.

Parking is available on the school grounds. Please, do not park at KFC, or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints carparks. Please come down Dominion Street, from the traffic light end, rather than from the Puriri Street end.

Parking will be on the school’s bottom field, and along the administration block for those with mobility passes. Please follow the arrows down the driveway; there will be parking attendants (yellow hi-vis vests) along the driveway and at key locations to assist you. We aim to make the process as seamless as possible.

Once parked the Rosmini volunteers (wearing pink hi-vis vests) will direct you to the lift and stairs in the new Mary Thomas block to get up to the Auditorium.
We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding and hope to see you on Friday.

If you are unable to attend Mr Owen Hughes' funeral at Rosmini College this Friday 12 April at 1pm, you can view the livestream below.

Homestay Families Needed

Have you thought about hosting an international student?

Rosmini College is currently looking for local homestay families for international high school students, for between 4 weeks to a year.
Our homestays provide students guidance, their own room, all meals and snacks, and integrate them into their homes. Homestays are rewarded with a fun and enriching experience of learning about a new culture and forming lasting global friendships. And, our homestays are remunerated for every student in their care.

If you think you could be a homestay for a Rosmini student, please email [email protected].nz
 for further information.

We aim to produce young men ready to leave school who are able to make a positive contribution to society and are empowered to serve others by living out the maxims of the college's founder, Antonio Rosmini - to be young men of dignity, integrity, fairness, charity and justice.
