As Term One draws to a close the PTFA would like to bring you up to date on our Term One news.  

In what is something of a tradition the first PTFA event for the year, the Yr 7 Father/Son breakfast, was held on Thursday 13th March with 210 fathers/guardians and sons attending.

PTFA Newsletter - 03/14

Dear Rosmini Parents

In 2013 with the support of the wider Rosmini community the Rosmini PTFA raised $41,600.  The majority of these funds are being used to cover the kitchen fit-out costs in the new Pavilion currently under construction adjacent to the top field.  Amongst other things this building will be utilised to host post match events for visiting schools competing in sporting events with our Rosmini boys.

Online Raffle Ticket Sales Now Closed

Thanks for your support of the Rosmini PTFA Cathay Pacific raffle.  Online ticket sales have now closed.  The raffle will be drawn tomorrow, Wednesday 30th October at Rosmini College under police supervision.  If you would still like to purchase a ticket please contact Angela Eastwood on 021833513.

 

PTFA Raffle Winner Announced

Raffle Draw The Rosmini PTFA is delighted to announce the winner of the Cathay Pacific Destination Europe Raffle is Mr Tony Bruce of Glenfield.  Tony bought his winning ticket, number 0056 online last week.  The raffle was drawn by Sergeant Colin Ware, at Rosmini College on Wednesday afternoon, 30 October 2013.  A total of 917 tickets were entered in the drawer.  Tony’s son Reagan (Yr 9) rang to advise him of the good news.

Golf Day a resounding success . . . .

On Thursday 17th October the day dawned sunny over the greens at Waitemata Golf Course in Devonport.  By the time Rachel Tomlinson, Shelley O’Dwyer and Raewyn Dowd had the bbq sizzling with sausages donated by Shanahan Architects (thanks for the drop off Luisa!) and the super fresh bread rolls from Bakers Delight in Milford were being filled our 20 teams had begun registering under the watchful eye of Jacqui Scott (Chief Organiser) and Angela Eastwood.  Kellie Reinen and Alexandra Crosbie were on hand to distribute the Golfers Goody Bags.  These contained a Primal Bar from Pure Delish, water and chocolate bars from South Pacific Brands, a BNZ pen, golf tees courtesy of Kensington Swan and a 3 month subscription to NZ Golf Magazine, all packaged nicely with the assistance of Rapid Labels and the Scott and Parsons families
