Newsletter (March 2013)
I would like to start this newsletter on a very positive note. It was tremendous to witness the response to the Year 7 Father/Son Breakfast held recently. I would like to record my thanks to our PTF A ladies who made a first-class job of the catering. It was also a delight to catch up with a number of old boy parents as well as new parents to the school. Very edifying was the impressive number of fathers who put aside their early morning to come along. All who attended will now have a clearer vision of what Rosmini hopes to achieve with their sons. The feed-back from those present was very positive indeed.
Newsletter (January 2013)
In my first newsletter of the year I would like to briefly outline our exam results for 2012 and I am delighted to record that they are outstanding.
Newsletter (September 2012)
The boys have been sitting their mock exams as I write this newsletter and these exams are very important as they give teachers and students a clear indication of how the student is performing. These tests are a wake-up call for the students who have fallen behind for various reasons. The good news is that the boys still have time to catch up and to do some serious study before the external exams. The real danger is for our boys to be complacent and settle for the Achieved grade, which can be well below their potential and may also mitigate against them being accepted for their chosen course at university or other tertiary institution. The clear message to the boys is fairly simple; if you want to achieve your goals then get down to some serious swot now; winter sports are nearly complete so it’s time to focus on what college is all about – teaching and learning.
Newsletter (December 2012)
Although this is a busy time of the year for everyone, I think it is important to take time to reflect, albeit briefly, on some of the highlights and achievements of our boys during the year.

GOLDEN JUBILEE 1962-2012
Undoubtedly you will all know that the Jubilee has come and gone, and to all extent and purposes it was a resounding success. I have already mentioned the great work Kevin Barry and his committee put in, and you can add to that many of the quiet, behind-the-scenes workers, both staff and parents, who were instrumental in making the weekend the success that it was. For those of you who didn’t attend any of the celebrations, I will outline some of the highlights.
