  • Music:  Saxophone and Clarinet lessons.
  • Rosmini 7's Rugby Team: will be playing in the NH U20 competition at Silverdale Rugby Club tomorrow, Saturday 1 Nov from 10am. All support is welcomed.
  • No Table-Top RPG and D&D Club this week.

 

Lost and Found

  • Lost Property will be outside FC2 at lunchtime.
  • Lost:  school jacket, named, belonging to Ewen Anderson, 8TKJ.
  • Lost:  black, with blue, with pink stripe wallet, belonging to Connor Johns, 8ECE.
  • Lost: DC camo wallet containing two party bus cards belonging to Jackson Francis 7CKJ.
  • Lost:  pencil case, grey with skulls belonging to Duke Larsen, 7JCH.
  • Lost: Daniel Tolu has misplaced the school red, white and blue volleyball vest. If anyone knows its whereabouts please let Mr Sexton or Daniel know. Daniel will have to pay for a new one. Left in old gym.

 

Senior

Years 11, 12, 13

  • Divine Mercy in the Chapel at the beginning of lunch.
  • Reminder:  all year 13’s:  following Leavers Mass urgent meeting @ Tom’s house.  Please see Tom Blackwell and/or Hauwai McGahan for further details – BYO your school spirit.
  • Scholarship students:  your papers will be returned digitally in February.  A letter from NZQA will be sent to your home address advising how to do this.
  • International Students:  please check the address on your NZQA exams admission slip especially, if you have changed your homestay.
  • Leaver’s Mass:  Today, Friday in the Auditorium.  Yrs 11, 12 & 13 are to proceed promptly to the auditorium at the end of period 1.  Bring your bags and leave them in the foyer.
  • Year 13 Leavers’ Mass:  Yr 13 are asked to bring an item of non-perishable food for the basket in the Offertory Procession for this Mass.  It would be great if everyone could donate one item for this last food collection involving your class.  Food items can be left at the school office or in R6.

 

Junior
Years 9 & 10

  • All students who are entitled to use reader, writer or computer assistance for any upcoming exams, tests or assessments need to complete a yellow "request SAC form" at least 3 school days prior to the assessment. Yellow forms are available at the office. 

 

Intermediate
Years 7 & 8

  • Kiwi Kick Zone Day trial signup sheet outside Mr Sexton's office.
  • Any triathletes interested in entering the North Shore Schools Triathlon on Thursday, 20 November please see Mr Sexton.
  • Any golf players with a registered handicap interested in representing Rosmini in the North Harbour Golf Zone Day please see Mr Sexton.
  • No more boys may transfer into Music for Year 9.
  • The Junior Forms 1-4 Regatta and North Harbour Year 7 & 8 Optimist championships are taking place on Monday 24 November.  The regatta will comprise of the following classes:- Optimist, P Class, Starling, Splash, Laser 4.7 & Radial, Techno, RSX.  The regatta is at Sandspit Yacht Club in Warkworth. You must be able to get your own boat to the event.  There is a meeting in S5 at morning tea today Friday for those interested.  This is an opportunity to remind the North Shore who the best sailors are!

Parents

  • Parents of year 7 to 10 students: in the next 4 weeks all of your boys will be sitting exams or doing assessments. If your child is entitled to use of reader, writer or computer assistance during exams (only if it has been set up and has been agreed on with school), can you remind them they will need to complete a yellow "request SAC form" at least 3 school days prior to the assessment, so assistance can be arranged. 
  • St. John’s School Gala: 87a Penzance Road, Mairangi Bay  Friday, 14th November,  4.30pm to 7.00pm Fun for all the family, games galore, coconut shy, rides, entertainment, food, white elephant, cakes and sweets, silent and live auctions, quick fire raffles, tombola, face painting, nail painting and tattoos, hair braiding, café to name but a few.
