  • Mass Today, Tuesday in the School Chapel at 12.50 pm.  Notice of this will be given by three short rings of the bell at 12.45 pm.

 

  • Calling ALL Rosmini Filipino students.  VIRTUAL MERIENDA commences Friday at morning interval in Barangay Kahoy.  We hope to have our first virtual link and will be planning the Filipino Festival.

 

  • Meeting for all Pasifika boys today, Tuesday Interval in A2

  • Pacifika homework club on Wednesday morning 8am in Food Tech

  • Pasifika Breakfast Club now on Friday morning in Food Tech 8:00am

 

  • Music:   Senior combo band (jazz) will meet after school on Tuesday.  Male Choir will meet Tuesday morning at 8 am.

 

  • Music:   Rosmini choir practice - every Tuesday before school, at 8am. Everyone is welcome.

 

  • B3 & B4 will not be open to students before school until Monday 27 February

 

  • Chess Club:  Thank you for the interest in starting a Chess Club.  Keep an eye on the Daily Notices for notification of when it will be begin and what day it will be.  Any students who missed the meeting and would like to join, please either email me on This email address is being protected from spambots.   • All students who have written their names down to participate in the High Performance programme must meet Mr. Fordham in the New Gym foyer at morning tea.  IMPORTANT!

 

  • Sailing meeting:  Meeting at lunchtime in S3 with Mr Ward for those students doing the Harken schools regatta

 

Seniors Year 11 - 13

  • Meeting for Duke of Edinburgh Hillary award on Tuesday 21st February senior lunchtime in the careers room.  The meeting is for those students who want to learn more about the award and how to get started.  I will also be available for those students already started on their awards to answer any queries they might have on their progress.  You have to be 13 ¾ or over to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary award.

 

  • Year 13: PEER SUPPORT MEETING today, TUESDAY in C5 at MORNING BREAK to organise Beach Day.

  • Year 13 Peer Supporters you should have picked up a Beach Day notice from Mrs Tait.  

 

  • Bio Schol will be starting Tuesday 21st after school until 4:30 in S1.

 

  • Physics Enhancement:    Meeting on Wednesday 22nd 8:00am in S9

 

  • Science Projects Groups:    See Mr Smith S9 Wednesday 22nd at Morning Tea

 

  • Japanese animation club will be held at 12.50pm every Friday in A4 classroom.  If you want to join, all welcome.

 

  • Senior Athletics Day:    Reminder to all Year 9 - 13 students that the Athletics Day is on Wednesday March 8th 2017. More information to follow in assembly and the notices.

Junior Years 9 & 10

 

  • Meeting for Duke of Edinburgh Hillary award on Tuesday 21st February senior lunchtime in the careers room.  The meeting is for those students who want to learn more about the award and how to get started.  I will also be available for those students already started on their awards to answer any queries they might have on their progress.  You have to be 13 ¾ or over to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary award.

  • Cricket:    2016 intermediate development teams.  An opportunity to play in a rescheduled internal match from last year.  If you are interested please sign up outside Mr Sexton's office.  The match will take place after school at Rosmini on Monday 27th February.

 

  • Senior Athletics Day:    Reminder to all Year 9 - 13 students that the Athletics Day is on Wednesday March 8th 2017. More information to follow in assembly and the notices.



Intermediate Years 7 & 8

 

  • Year 7 and Year 8 students interested in joining Chef for Compassion.  Please return application forms to Mrs van as soon as possible.

 

  • Orienteering starts this week at Rosmini College - 4:30

 

  • Year 7 orienteering students remain after assembly for a talk on Orienteering.

 

  • If there are any students NOT doing Orienteering this year who have a Rosmini College Orienteering singlet, could you please see Mrs Van as soon as possible.

 

  • There will another trial on Thursday 23rd for those boys interested in playing Year 7 & 8 basketball this season.  Please ensure that you have registered before this date, as we will not be able to accept any more registrations after this.  This trial will be broken into two sessions again and your parents will be notified via e-mail which session we would like you to attend.

  • Lost:      Rosmini Blue Jacket belonging to Damon Erasmuson 9PDP, lost after 5th Period P.E. on Friday 17 February.  It is fully named in various places inside the lining.  When found please return  to Damon or to the Rosmini School Office.

  • Lost:      Red and Black Wallet belonging to William Marquez 9JVH.  When found please return  to William or to the Rosmini School Office.  Has Student ID card inside.

Parents

 

  • Father/Son Breakfast for Year 7 Boys:   The PTFA is organising a welcome breakfast for Year 7 boys and their fathers/caregivers.  This will be held in the Tindall Auditorium on Thursday 9 March at 7.30am.  A notice about this event has been sent home with your son.  Please return the tear off section, with payment, to the school office.

 

  • The Rosmini College Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) AGM is to be held in the John Copson Pavilion on Tuesday 14 March at 7.30pm. The PTFA are a group dedicated to supporting the school through fundraising and community events. If you are interested in being involved in the PTFA then please come along.   All are welcome.
