  • Boys who are waiting to be picked up by their parents for an appointment may wait in the reception area
  • Rugby Shorts are available at NO cost to each registered player.
  • Mothers’ Day - May 10th.  Young Vinnies are issuing a challenge to all its members on the above day to take their Mothers out to breakfast, lunch or dinner.  If this is not possible practically then to choose one of the following … organise your Father or an older sibling to take you (and Mum) or give her breakfast in bed.  Young Vinnies would like as many other Rosminians to take part in this challenge as well.  Mark it on your calendar and start organizing now.
  • Music Monday - Trumpet, Guitar, Strings, Pop Singing with Ms Lynch, Voice Combo Band
  • Music Tuesday - Guitar lessons.  Jazz Band at 8am
  • Auckland Secondary Schools Individual Orienteering Champs - 13 May 2015.  If any Orienteering student wants to participate in this event, please see Mrs Van for entry forms.  Meet Wednesday at morning tea time.
  • Basketball - all age groups commence next week, so you need to ensure that you have your uniform size marked down.  NO UNIFORM, NO PLAY FOR THE FIRST WEEK. There are also a number of players who are yet to pay their registration fee.  This is now well overdue and you need to see Mr Samuels ASAP, or YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR TEAM.  
  • Canterbury University coming today at 10.40am.  Please see Mr Latch if you wish to attend this event
  • 3rd Rugby Training Wednesday on No 1 field 3.20-4.30
  • Rugby Referees Course - Reminder to Nick Holford, Duran Kent, Connor Green, Andrew Thomas, Aviata Leaoaniu, Joseph Alesich-Tamaniki, Joseph Clarkson (Steve Unga may be interested too - See Mr Sexton).  Course is this Wednesday - meet at Takapuna Rugby Club - 9am sharp

  • Lost :  Graphics Calculator has the name “Sophie Burridge” on it.  Most likely lost in Science Block.  Please return to Mrs Davidson in the main office.
  • Lost : White Graphics Calculator with multicoloured “Casio” written on the case.  Left in Mr Plummer’s Science Room.   Please hand in to Mr Plummer or Mrs Davidson
  • Lost : Art folder belonging to Marcus Joyce 7CKJ
  • Lost : Old school jacket - name on it is William Catlin.  Please hand in to R7 if found
  • Found : Black schools shoes with grey socks. Size 14, lace free, almost new.  Found in and pick up from R5

Years 11, 12 & 13

  • Yr 13 - Any Peer Support boy who has lost his badge, please see Mrs Tait to collect
  • Yr 12 & 13 - a reminder that the Scholarship Breakfast is on this Thursday morning at 7.30am.  However, due to catering requirements, it is too late to sign up if you have not returned your forms.

Intermediate - Years 7 & 8

  • Yr 7 & 8 - Rugby Zone Day.  Reminder Mr Sexton needs contact details of any fathers interested in coaching one of the zone day teams ASAP.  Details of trainings/trials to follow soon.
  • Yr 7 & 8 Sevens players from last term  - Training lunchtime today & tomorrow
  • Millennium Athlete Testing - all those boys who signed up - the physical tests will be carried out today and tomorrow in the old gym.  See the sports noticeboard by the weights room to see when you are getting tested.
  • Yr 7 & 8 - Squash - any boy who plays regularly and wants to be considered for the zone day team see Mr Sexton
  • Unicycles at lunchtime - Reminder to anyone interested.  Bring a bike helmet. See Mrs Rodkiss in the sports gear shed
  • All Yr 7 & 8 Football players who played in the Zone Day,  please come to S4 at morning tea
  • U45, U55 & Open Rugby - Training Wednesday after school.  Bring rugby gear, boots & mouth guards.  Any problems please see Mr Sexton.  Training will be 3.10 - 4.30pm.

Our IT Manager is trying to source old digital cameras for his next holiday programmes (Discovery Labs).  The main requirement is that they can take a still photo of at least 1.3meg.  In short, he is looking for obselete cameras that are gathering dust on your shelf and aren’t worth the effort to list on Trademe.  If you are willing to trade this for a Hoyts movie ticket,  please let This email address is being protected from spambots.
