Cricket Milo Cup Final 16/10/2008

Rosmini Year 7 & 8 won the North Harbour Title and went on to play the top Auckland School, Mt Roskill, in the Milo Cup Final.

Match results

Rosmini lost the toss and batted first in very wet and difficult conditions: 165 for 7 off 30 overs

  • Connor Ridge 23
  • Callum Simmonds 32

Mt Roskill batted second:

166 for 2 with 2 balls to spare. Wickets were very hard to come by and we dropped a few catches. Good bowling from

  • Clayton Floyd 5 overs, 14 runs, 0 wickets
  • Dominic Mullins 4 overs, 15 runs, 0 wickets

So a closely fought match with Rosmini narrowly losing with 2 balls to go. Thank you to the parents who supported and coached the team.
